The revised site includes properties at 3-15 The Broadway, mostly occupied retail units with accommodation on floors above and the centre of the site. The Council owned car park at the rear of the site no longer forms part of the plans. The Star public house is not part of the proposals. 

This prominent but underused town centre location includes 3 – 15 The Broadway.  The centre of the site is currently a car wash business and parking for The Broadway properties. A number of the premises on the frontage are in temporary, short-term use, but are no longer fit for permanent, modern High Street uses.
